Respect

Tags: Education

Respect is important in school because it sets a healthy environment in the classroom in which one learns. There would be no desire to teach or to learn without respect from the students and the teachers. Showing disrespect can distract a child from learning to his or her best ability. They can’t do their best performance if there is disrespect between the kids or teachers. Treat others in the way you’d want to be treated.

By Erica, 17
Recorded at Jefferson-Morgan School District on October 31, 2012
Description:
Students were asked what respect means to them and respond why respect was important in school.
